I Got my High Hope Stamps. Yippee Yippee

I have been waitng and let me tell you it was so worth it. I love my new stamps. They are awesome! It was so cool to get a few freebies as well. What a nice surprise. You can bet I will be ordering again real soon. I ordered their August Special and I am sure I will need a few more stamps to go with it.

My first Card Holder

Ok most of my stuff is here and there and it' soooo Hot today I wasn't in the mood to go on a hunt and seek adventure. So I used what I had around so it needs more bling on the front. But here is the card holder I made this afternoon. I got the pattern off of Splitcoaststampers Here is one that is all done up nice and neat on Katharina's Crative Place Check out the very nice one on my friend's site Joani's Cards Made by Hand She is the one that got me looking for a pattern. I love her Wedding theme

I think my next one I will make note cards to match.

Ally is my 20 yr plus Moluccan Cockatoo. I was lucky enough to have a friend that has a friend that owns a feed store. Ally was the mascot there for many years and that gal thought she would be happier living with a family. She gave me Ally which I will be forever grateful for. She is such a loving bird. She cuddles in your lap and begs to be petted just like a dog. She will take her had and nudge your hand.

I love getting stamps in the mail.. I just had to have the new Charlie stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps

Every Month they put out new stamps sets. I put my new stamps on top of the afghan I am crocheting. The afghan is what been taking up my time lately. With my craft room getting done and things everywhere I haven't felt much like stamping.

Great Mail Day

I love getting Swap cards in the mail.. It's one of my favorite things.. Here are a few I got the past few days.

The first card is from Carrie for a Matchbook swap I was in with her. Love those buggies.

The second card is from Nic and I just love the stamps from High Hopes they are one of my many favorites. I saw this card on her blog and hoped I would get it. And here it is. Too cool.

The third card came all the way from AU from Toni for a Thank you card swap. Love the details on the front.


Today I started to crochet an afghan yes finally got my hooks out. Didn't get very far about 6 rows. My neck has been hurting the past few days and it's hard to really do much of anything. No soaking in the Hot Tub until my tat heals probably Friday.

Right now I can't upload pics but I will keep trying I really want to show off the cards I got from my friends in my msn group.

Hope you are all having a great day. Hubby is getting farther along in my craft room/ closet. I won't get as much room as I wanted but it better than nothing I guess.
